This unusual but fantastic vinyl artwork all started when the artist found some disgarded records and knew they could put them to better use. The words are lyrics from different songs, skillfully hand painted typography in acrylic, we think they make excellent one off pieces of art, check out more of the work over at Quiet Boy Studio

 

Carrying on with our recent wooden finds is this Alarm Clock Dock, which lets you to feed through your dock cable for recharging and also hold your iPhone in place to display the time. Best use of wood since, well, since the We Wood Watches :)

Had we not already missed Christmas these wooden watches by We Wood Watches wood (ahem) be top of our list :) Incredible I think you'd agree and 'touch wood' (sorry) Santa will gift us with one this year.

Fancy turning that cheap plain old 'Lack' Ikea table into something revamped and barely recognisable?

These 'hacked' designs show what can be achieved with some imagination and different materials. The above table design makes use of bamboo veneer to create a flower design.
